Pheasant watercolour print
We've affectionately named this pheasant watercolour print Danny, after our favourite Roald Dahl book, Danny the Champion of the World. Like the book, it is joyful and full of colour...and was a real treat to paint with its rusty red and coppery tones contrasting with the eye-catching blue-green of his neck.
Our watercolour pheasant was based on the stunning male pheasants who parade proudly round the fields next to our Northern Ireland studio....and occasionally get into scraps with one another!
Size and paper details
This print was originally created in watercolour and is available to buy in A4 or A5, on luxuriously thick 300 gsm textured card stock that is 100% recycled and recyclable (not that we recommend you ever part with this print!).
How's it hanging?
Our pheasant print can also be purchased with a gravity hanger (pictured.) The gravity hangers are the best way to take away the delay (and decision making!) of displaying art in your home and are easy peasy to use (check our video below.) If you've already got a picture frame in mind, you can of course purchase without the gravity frame - just select "No frame" from the dropdown menu below.)
