Make your own Christmas crackers!
Picture the scene: Christmassy music, twinkly lights, a cup of something warm and festive, while you sit down to a spot of Christmassy crafting, with our Make Your Own Christmas Crackers Kit! Whether you enjoy a bit of creative time just for you, have fun as a family making your crackers, or invite some friends round, the kit has all you need.
What's in the kit?
The kit contains the supplies you need to make 8 Christmas crackers, complete with paper crowns and hilarious jokes. Each kit contains:
- 8 x sheets of recyclable paper, with Christmassy pattern on one side and pre-drawn lines for cutting, folding & sticking on the other
- 2-3 x sheets of recyclable red tissue paper
- 1 x roll of recyclable double sided sticky tape
- 8 x lengths of twine
- 8 x jokes
- 1 x stencil for paper crown
- QR code to access video tutorial & instructions
What's not in the kit?
The kitchen sink. Kidding! The only things you'll need from your craft cupboard are a cutting mat (or a wooden chopping board), a craft knife, a metal ruler and toilet roll tubes. As for the goodies you put inside the cracker, we've left this up to you. We've included suggestions of plastic-free treats, but the choice is yours.
How do I make the crackers?
On the lid of your kit is a QR code, which will take you straight to a private page with a video tutorial and full instructions with photographs. If you'd like a bit of extra support, there are Make Your Own Christmas Cracker workshops available - just email email@example.com for more info.
Can the crackers be personalised?
Yes! The crackers can have names printed on the patterned side, as seen in the product photos. Just select the Personalised Kit from the options below, then write the names required in the notes section when you check out. There is an additional charge of £3 per kit for this.
Is the kit suitable for kids?
We've tested the "do-ability" of the kit on kiddos and it's a big thumbs up for children over the age of 7. We recommend adult assistance for the parts requiring a craft knife and adults should place the cracker snap inside the cracker....to avoid any over-excited and accidental "snapping" too close to delicate kiddo skin.
I want a Make Your Own Christmas Cracker party!
That sounds like great craic! ;) You've got 2 choices for this one: you can either come along (or host) a workshop, or you can avail of the multi-buy discount and invite some friends round to yours! There's automatically a 10% discount added when you buy more than 1 kit.
